Named Dynamic Entrepreneur of Johnston County, Sarah is the founder & owner of One-Eighty Counseling P.A. She started the group in 2007 and has facilitated the company's growth to become one of the largest Mental Health & Substance Abuse private practices in our area. Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in North Carolina (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC). The Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) identifies those professional counselors who are uniquely trained in best practices for delivering traditional counseling through technological means. DCCs have met nationally established distance counseling criteria and adhere to the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Code of Ethics and Policy Regarding the Provision of Distance Professional Services.
She specializes in treating female adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders, panic, and stress. She also focuses on treating mood disorders, depression, self-harming, divorce/separation, grief & loss, relationship issues, maternal mental health concerns and supporting wives of alcoholics. In addition, Sarah provides couples and marriage counseling for infidelity and communication deficits and provides Christian or faith based counseling upon request of the client. Her therapeutic approach centers on integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a client-centered and strengths-based focus. She also incorporates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Yoga therapy, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
Sarah currently serves on the Campbell University Counselor Education Department Advisory Board is involved in the Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Cleveland Women's Network. She is available for speaking engagements to promote mental health wellness & education for churches, schools, organizations, corporations & Employee Assistance Programs.
Sarah also provides business coaching and mentoring for female entrepreneurs . Sarah has established herself as a successful entrepreneur in Southeastern NC and assists women in launching and expanding their vision. She easily relates to the entrepreneurial mom who has a dream in her heart and wonders how to balance family and business while developing that dream.

Jennifer comes to us with a love for the healthcare field and a broad expertise in many aspects of it. From administrative to billing to management, Jennifer has experience with it all. She received her Inpatient / Outpatient Billing and Coding Certificate with High Honors from Fayetteville Technical Community College and went on to receive her Certification as a Professional Coder with the AAPC in 2012.
Her primary focus is on providing excellent customer service and making sure that our client's and counselor's needs are well taken care of. In order to make this happen she makes sure that our claims are filed efficiently and properly so that the client's insurance benefits can be utilized at their maximum benefit.
In her free time, Jennifer cherishes raising her two children, Connor and Samantha. She also enjoys cooking, taking trips to the beach and spoiling her dogs, Piper and Tina.

Sara began her career teaching at Johnston Community College as an instructor for their Pharmacy Technology Program. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science with a course of study in Pharmacy Technology that she received from Johnston Community College. After 4 years of teaching, Sara felt called to go back to school and she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management at the University of Mount Olive.
Sara has always had a passion for the healthcare field. She has a heart to provide genuine care for the emotional and physical well-being of others and is excited to be a part of the One-Eighty Counseling team. Sara enjoys spending her free time with family and friends and is very involved in her church.

Sequoia Miller is a born and raised North Carolina native with a sweet southern charm. She has an Associates of Science degree in Behavioral Science from Campbell University and is in the process of completing a Bachelors degree in Psychology at Campbell. Her passion for mental health started at a young age as she realized the impact of living with and caring for her relatives suffering from mental illnesses.
Sequoia is responsible for all Patient Coordination in the Cary office. She is the bright cheery voice you hear when you call in to schedule your appointment.
In her free time, Sequoia enjoys hanging out with friends and family.

Susan comes to us with over seven years of experience in the medical field as a Front Desk Coordinator, where her love for healthcare began. From experience in family care to substance abuse patients and everything in between, she's always held mental health close to her heart since losing a family member and friend to suicide. Her passion is helping others overcome their hurt and brokenness from past experiences and move forward in confidence and healing. She’s always felt called to serve and help others and is so excited to be a part of the One-Eighty Counseling team where she can continue pursuing her passion. Susan is a wife and mom to three, one of four leaders in Three Four One Women’s Ministry, active in her church and has a heart for Mission work. In her free time she enjoys traveling often, writing and photography.

Zack comes to us from Connecticut where he worked at a Substance Abuse Clinic for several years as a Care Coordinator. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health which he hopes to pursue further into the Counseling field. Mental Health is a matter that is near and dear to Zack’s heart from early on, and he is excited to serve as a part of the One-Eighty team. In his free time, he volunteers with his church, is a strategy game enthusiast, motorbikes, slacklines, and cooks.
