Shayla is originally from Minnesota and after dealing with too many freezing winters, she decided to move to North Carolina. Shayla recently graduated with her Bachelors degree, majoring in general psychology, with a minor in criminal justice. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in clinical psychology, specializing in applied research. Shayla has always had a passion for helping others in any way she can and her future goal is to be an advocate for those who may not be able to advocate for themselves. When she has a little free time from school, she likes to read a good book, crochet, bake some sweet treats and cuddle with her cats.
