Shine is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensed in North Carolina. She maintains a welcoming environment where unconditional positive regard is emphasized. Shine brings her unique multicultural and corporate world experiences into the counseling room to help address OCD, anxiety, depression, psychosis, life transitions, acculturation and identity issues. She is also passionate about working with couples experiencing life challenges, relationship issues and behavior issues.

In her therapy practice Shine uses various therapy approaches tailored to each person’s situation. She strives to assist clients in relieving distress and gaining self-awareness. Spirituality is an important part of her own life and practice. When appropriate, she can help clients discuss their deepest values to enhance greater meaning in their lives.

Shine is also passionate about international populations and people who have emigrated to the U.S. from other countries and may be experiencing difficulty or concern with assimilation and acculturation. She can also assist clients with corporate or organizational workplace concerns.
