Jessica Gayleard

M.S., LCMHC

Jessica graduated from Auburn University with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Towson University. Jessica has 6 years of experience working with clients of all ages, in various settings such as outpatient therapy, intensive in-home therapy, and school-based counseling. She also has a background in research and is a published author. The skills she has learned in both clinical and research settings have helped to inform and shape her practice in counseling in many ways.

Jessica has experience working with individuals ages 2 to 60, supporting them in working through difficulties related to parenting, relationships, mood regulation, and more. She practices mainly from the Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach but pulls from many others to help provide her clients with the best treatment tailored to their unique needs and personalities. Other therapies she has specialized training in include Eco-Systematic Family Therapy (ESFT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).

Jessica’s goal is to promote individual growth and psychological health. She strives to honor and respect her clients while helping them to explore and learn ways to not only alleviate their suffering but to make the most of their lives.
