Hannah Skelton

LCMHC, LCAS

Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. She received her Master of Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University in 2017 and her Bachelor of Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2011. Hannah’s experience includes working in agencies specializing in outpatient substance use disorder treatment and outpatient mental health settings for non-addiction related treatment.

It is important to Hannah to create a safe space for each individual to share and explore one’s thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Hannah strives to create a caring, empathetic, and encouraging environment that fosters growth while assisting individuals in achieving their goals. The theories and techniques Hannah pulls from in her therapeutic practices include Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, and Motivational Interviewing.
