Bianca Mason

LCSWA

My name is Bianca Mason and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work, from Clark Atlanta University with a concentration in Health/Mental Health, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from George Mason University. I am experienced working with a wide range of socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals who experienced trauma, survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence/sexual assault and substance abuse/dependency.

As an outpatient therapist for adults in individual settings, I believe in the importance of acknowledging each individual person’s values as we work together and meeting people where they currently are, in a non-judgmental, positive, open minded, relational approach. Using a holistic, and strengths-based approach, I incorporate theoretical models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support each person’s needs and journey to healing. Therapy is not a “one size fits all” experience and each person’s process is unique. I enjoy partnering with clients to create a process that meets the client’s needs and goals.
