ACCOMPLISH

Leading From The Heart

My word for 2026 is Accomplish. Every December, I take some time during the month and think and meditate on what word I should pick for the upcoming year. In late December, poof! It popped into my thoughts: Accomplish. What a perfect and timely word, given the absolute challenge 2025 was for me. The past is the past and I’m looking forward to 2026, so I’ve been pondering all month what does Accomplish mean for me in 2026?

Last week our SAIOP team finally ACCOMPLISHED the goal we’d been working on for 15 months… Full Accreditation by The Joint Commission, a national accrediting body for hospitals, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and medical programs! This is the highest recognition of accreditation a program can get. To know that the SAIOP was just a conversation about 20 months ago, that we started it from scratch, hired a few consultants to help guide us along the way, got licensed by the State of NC last June and now achieved a National Accreditation- is a HUGE accomplishment! None of us on the SAIOP team have ever started and launched a program. This feels like SUCH a big accomplishment and I’m so proud of Emily Fry, Kaleigh Stites, Jason Kron, Laura Walters, Steve Pinette and Wendy Dunn for all the work they’ve done and are doing to make our Substance Use IOP one of the best programs in NC.

I’m very excited to see what else we at One80 Accomplish this year!! What are you seeking to accomplish for yourself personally or professionally? Best of luck to you in that endeavor!

Be Well,
