Wendy Dunn

Wendy Dunn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Gannon University in Erie, PA also in Social Work. Wendy has been licensed in the state of NC since 2002.

Wendy’s main focus is to meet you where you are.  Does life seem challenging? Are you  struggling with life transitions? Maybe grief/loss, anxiety, or depression have overwhelmed you? Wendy strives to create a safe place where you can feel free to be yourself in a compassionate, non-judgmental space. Wendy’s goal is to assist you in managing emotions, improve your well being and life satisfaction.

During our session, Wendy will use a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet your individual needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Strength Based therapies may be incorporated. Wendy believes you are the expert of your life and will work with you to help you be the best you can be. Sometimes life gets messy and Wendy would enjoy partnering with you to help you get to where you want to be.
