Mitzi approaches therapy from a person-centered perspective. She meets the person where they are and collaboratively determines the best course of treatment based on the individual’s personal goals and needs. She may use a supportive solution-focused approach, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or mindfulness, and in many cases, a combination of these. She is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals.
Mitzi is a North Carolina native. She grew up in the eastern part of the state and now calls the triangle home. She has always had a love for the Outer Banks and spends as much time at the beach as possible. She lives with her daughter and their Pomeranian who also enjoy time at the beach.
