Jordan is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She recently graduated from Appalachian State University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 2018.

She completed her internship at the Cornerstone Student Support and Wellness Center at Lenoir-Rhyne University, working with clients experiencing concerns related to depression and anxiety, mood disorders, relationship/family issues, spirituality, injuries, grief and loss, adjustment issues, identity exploration, and stress management.

Jordan’s approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered, strength-based counseling and cognitive behavioral therapies. She also has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship by collaboratively working with clients to identify what changes are needed to reduce emotional and behavioral disturbances. Her clients are empowered to make changes and reach their goals by utilizing existing strengths. She hopes to assist clients in reaching their goals by providing non-judgmental, genuine support and helping to facilitate their journey.
