JJ Beaver is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in the state of North Carolina. He earned his Masters Degree from the University of North Dakota and his undergraduate from Colorado Christian University. His educational background and life experiences have provided him with the opportunity to work with a diverse population. JJ chose the counseling field to empower individuals to change their own lives.

JJ’s approach to therapy is building a strong therapeutic relationship that will guide the therapeutic process. He believes in and encourages self-realization and exploration guided by specific strategies and interventions to process life’s challenges and to assist you on your journey to be the person/family you hope to be. He is equipped to guide, challenge, and process with you your story to help you define the changes you would like to make and how to get there. JJ provides a safe and welcoming environment to meet you where you are.

When JJ is not working you can find him at the beach, exploring nature, and spending time with his growing family. JJ is an avid adventurer and loves being outdoors.
