Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Hannah works with individuals 16 and older experiencing a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use, family members impacted by substance use, adult children of alcoholics, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress management. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, believing that each client is the expert of their own life and experiences. Hannah’s role is to provide insights, tools, and support to help clients navigate their unique journeys. She strives to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring challenges at their own pace.
Theoretically, Hannah draws from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and she tailors her interventions to meet the individual needs of each client.
Outside of the counseling room, Hannah enjoys practicing yoga, cooking and trying new foods, and spending time with her husband and their two cats, Millie and Tuxedo.
