I am a licensed psychologist and Health Services Provider in North Carolina. I earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services

I provide individual therapy and counseling services for adults (and sometimes older teens). I am comfortable integrating the Christian faith into the counseling process upon a client’s request. I also provide psychological evaluations for adults, with emphasis on ADHD evaluations, presurgical bariatric evaluations, PTSD and trauma related evaluations, and general psychological evaluations to clarify diagnoses and inform treatment.

Philosophy

I know it can be tough to go see a therapist, or find the right one. Like many therapists, my approach is flexible and integrative of multiple modalities, but it’s the deeper connection with a therapist that makes all the difference. I usually find it helpful to balance the factors most clients find the most helpful in therapy:

Personal

I am married with two kids. I’ve done my own therapy, so I definitely know what it’s like to be a client. I’ve learned a lot in life so far, but I don’t know everything. I try to be the best version of myself everyday, sometimes it actually works. I’m inspired by people who keep trying.
