Brenika Washington

Brenika (Bre) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She earned her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Campbell University and her Bachelor of Psychology degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Brenika operates from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective and draws on interventions from Reality Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. She takes pride in making sure that her clients feel respected, heard, and that everyone she sees will have their own unique therapeutic relationship. She also offers therapy with integration of the Christian-faith and spirituality upon a client’s request.

Brenika has experience counseling in a private practice as well as 2 college campuses, such as Campbell University and Meredith College. She has experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem issues, personality disorders, career discovery and more. Brenika has experience working with children adolescents and adults.

Brenika enjoys spending time with her family. She strives to help you discover the goals you want to set and helps you to come up with things you can do every day to achieve your goals. She believes that we all have unique strengths, it’s up to us to learn how to tap into those strengths and use them to our advantage.
