Stefania Arias

LCMHC-A

Stefania, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Since she can remember, she has been drawn to helping others and believes that empathy, understanding, and genuine connection are essential to the counseling process. Stephania’s goal is to meet clients where they are, honoring their unique experiences while supporting them at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful to them. She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, neurodiversity-related challenges, parent burnout, caregiver stress, life transitions, work-related stress and career indecision, self-esteem concerns, and challenges related to navigating an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis within the family. Stefania has a particular passion for trauma work and helping clients understand that healing does not mean forgetting what happened, but rather learning how to move forward while integrating those experiences into their lives in a healthier way.

In her clinical work she draws primarily from person-centered and psychodynamic approaches while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting change. Ultimately, she believes that every individual has strengths that can be built upon, and is committed to providing a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their journey.
