Jessica Phillips

MS, LCMHC-A, LCAS-A

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Methodist University and her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Military and Civilian Trauma Studies.

Jessica works with adults experiencing trauma, including civilian and military PTSD, relational trauma, and the effects of domestic violence and intimate partner violence, as well as substance use and addiction, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, family estrangement, and co-occurring mental health concerns. She also provides LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

Jessica’s approach to counseling is trauma-informed, relational, and person-centered. She draws from Relational-Cultural Therapy and is informed by evidence-based trauma treatments, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based approaches, and somatic and Internal Family Systems-informed work.

Jessica believes that many emotional struggles develop within the context of relationships, and that healing occurs through increased awareness, safety, and connection. She strives to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, reduce distressing patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
