Grace Howell

Grace Howell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who works with children and adolescents ages 8 and up. She earned her Master of Social Work from Walden University and completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Ferrum College. Prior to joining One-Eighty, Grace gained experience working with diverse populations in community-based mental health and served as an intern with CASA of Roanoke, Virginia, a child advocacy organization.

Grace has experience supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD-related challenges, adjustment and abandonment issues, suicidality, relationship difficulties, and stress management. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment where people feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Her approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Grace focuses on helping clients build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and develop resilience, while also identifying their strengths and working toward meaningful, values-driven goals.

Grace believes therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each individual. She is committed to helping clients develop the tools they need to navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and grow with confidence both in and outside of the therapy space.
