Jena McMillan is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, postpartum challenges, relational stress, and faith-related concerns. Jena has a particular passion for new moms and individuals walking through seasons of deep change or unexpected hardship.
She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Jena is committed to continued professional growth and values clinical supervision and ongoing training as essential parts of becoming the most effective therapist she can be. She believes counseling should feel both safe and purposeful—a space where clients are deeply heard while also being gently supported toward meaningful growth.
Jena’s style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed approaches, and practical skills-based interventions, while also incorporating mindfulness and values-based work. When clients desire, she thoughtfully weaves faith into the therapeutic process in a way that respects individual beliefs and experiences. She helps clients recognize patterns between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while equipping them with tools to build resilience, emotional regulation, and confidence.
Rather than offering quick fixes or simple advice, Jena partners with her clients in the work. She offers insight, encouragement, and compassionate challenge—always honoring each person’s pace and autonomy. Her goal is to provide a steady presence and practical direction, creating a counseling experience that is both nurturing and transformative.
