Erin is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with over fifteen years of experience helping individuals heal from trauma and navigate life’s challenges. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Psychology-Clinical Counseling from The Citadel Graduate College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from NC State University.
Erin has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and is a Certified Grief Therapist.
Drawing from a wide range of therapeutic approaches, Erin tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs. Her integrative style incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, along with holistic practices that support whole-person healing.
Erin primarily works with adolescents and adults across the lifespan. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and brings extensive clinical experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress management, grief, life transitions, and more. With a strong background working across all levels of care — from inpatient hospitals and residential treatment to outpatient and community-based settings — Erin brings practical, effective interventions to every client she serves.
Erin creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients of all faiths and spiritual backgrounds feel respected and supported. As a Reiki Master, she is open to blending holistic approaches with traditional therapy to promote deep and lasting healing.
In her free time, Erin enjoys reading, yoga, hosting exchange students and game nights with family and friends.
