Ron Hicks


Ron is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), Licensed Substance Abuse Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS-A), and Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II). He graduated with his Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College and has provided counseling for adolescents and adults in community mental health, the department of corrections, inpatient psychiatric settings, with the VA and currently in private practice. Additionally, Ron is a Veteran with 18 plus years of service.

Ron provides treatment for individuals dealing with substance abuse, addiction, anger challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, spiritual concerns, and relationship issues. Ron focuses on providing a client-centered, non-judgmental environment utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness and Meditation, and Positive Psychology. Ron strives to create a caring, empathetic, encouraging environment to enhance growth and achieving a greater level of well-being.
