Natalie is a licensed marriage and family therapy associate. She graduated with a masters of science in Marriage and family therapy from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. During her time in graduate school, Natalie worked as a research assistant researching intimate partner violence. Natalie received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where she spent time researching romantic attraction and stereotypes.
Natalie has 6 years experience working with families, couples, adults, and children. Natalie specializes in couples and family therapy as well as individual therapy for adults and children. Natalie has worked in various clinical settings including a residential program for 5-18 year old boys, schools, and outpatient settings. Natalie provides treatment for high conflict couples and families as well as relationship/ communication issues. She also provides treatment in areas of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, parenting difficulties, and self-esteem.
Natalie focuses on a client-centered, open, caring, non-judgmental environment providing a safe space to facilitate change with clients. She utilizes attachment theory (emotionally focused therapy), Gottman techniques, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-focused and Family Systems modalities.
