Catherine “Katie” Zeidan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, originally from the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Katie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Family Relations, with a concentration of Family Service, from East Carolina University. Soon thereafter, Katie went on to earn her Master of Social Work degree, with a concentration on substance use counseling, from East Carolina University. Katie has had a wide variety of clinical experience in different settings including, community mental health. Katie treats adults and adolescents who live with anxiety, depression, mood disorder, and substance use conditions. She also has had experience with those who are survivors of domestic violence and those living in recovery from substance use. Her therapeutic approach is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Motivational Interviewing. Katie hopes to provide each person she works with a supportive ear, so that they may feel comfortable to be vulnerable and experience growth through the therapeutic process. She supports those she works with through empathy, compassion, and the ability to provide a different perspective on some of life’s biggest battles.
