Jessica Nowadly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY in 2013. In addition to her training as an LCSW, Jessica is also a Certified Trauma Practitioner and a trained Perinatal Mental Health clinician.
After working as a hospital case manager for nearly 8 years with a variety of individuals and families across the life span, Jessica’s passion for women’s’ health ignited while working in a women’s hospital covering Labor & Delivery, antepartum and postpartum care, as well as some NICU. This experience inspires her compassionate and knowledgeable approach to therapy.
Jessica specializes in maternal wellness and perinatal mental health. She has experience working with a host of concerns across the perinatal spectrum, including, but not limited to- infertility, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, adoption, parenting struggles, and working through the mental load of motherhood. She also specializes in anxiety, stress management and adjustment issues.
Jessica strives to create a warm and welcoming space for clients to feel safe and comfortable to share their story and begin working through the therapeutic process. She operates from a trauma informed, resiliency focused, strengths-based perspective while utilizing principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Jessica aims to help clients embrace who they are, become empowered in self-awareness and emotional regulation, in order to experience freedom and reach their full potential. She can also implement a Christ-centered, faith-based approach, when appropriate for the client.
