Jenny is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA) and Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor (CFNC) with a diverse background in counseling and business. She spent 20 years in corporate America serving in various leadership and individual contributor roles. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University.

Jenny enjoys working with adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults. She has provided both outpatient and inpatient care and has clinical experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, abuse, grief, mood disorders and issues of marriage and family (including step and blended families) and more. She is adept in affair recovery and provides Christian or faith-based counseling upon request of the client.

As a holistic practitioner, Jenny uses a variety of therapies to treat the total person while placing a heavy emphasis on functional nutrition. Functional nutrition is a whole-body approach that considers your environment, exertion level, mental health, and previous and current medical history. Functional nutrition also focuses on gut health and individualized nutrient deficiencies. With its dedication to full-body health, functional nutrition is more of a lifestyle. Not only does it focus on what you put into your body, but your stress levels, sleeping habits, and overall mental health.

Jenny is an EMDR-trained therapist. EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy utilized in the treatment of PTSD and trauma and has also proven to be effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and addictions. She also incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) when appropriate.
