Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS). She graduated with her Masters in Counseling and Marriage Family Child Therapy from the ground campus of University of Phoenix Costa Mesa. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Santa Barbara California.Jennifer specializes in marital and family counseling, as well as individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She has worked in many community organizations and is also a trained facilitator for Circle of Security Parenting. As a trainer, Jennifer works with parents to help them understand their child’s emotional needs and enhance the development of their child’s self-esteem. Jennifer provides treatment for individuals, couples and families dealing with substance abuse. She also provides treatment in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, parenting skills, gender/sexual identify, and communication. Jennifer focuses on delivering a client centered, non-judgmental environment utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), multiple family solution modalities and substance abuse specific treatment modalities. Jennifer is a fully trained EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy) focusing on the delivery of this trauma therapy with client that have dual diagnosis of Substance use and trauma. Jennifer strives for a caring, empathetic, encouraging environment so the client can reach their fullest potential.
