Jasmine Watts

Jasmine is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor with the state of North Carolina. In 2019, she received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University and in 2013, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from North Carolina A&T State University. Jasmine embraces a holistic approach to therapy and uses a variety of treatment modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Jasmine has extensive experience working in various setting to include Rowan Cabarrus Community College in Concord, North Carolina, substance abuse agencies, and in criminal justice settings. She was drawn to the counseling profession from her own personal experiences and truly has a passion for working with adolescents and adults suffering from life transitions, issues with self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Jasmine believes therapy is an inviting place where every single part of you is welcome, even the parts that are uncomfortable to share.

Jasmine would personally like to thank you for considering beginning your journey of self-discovery. She believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s difficulties. No matter what the response has been from those around you or your inner critic, please know you are making a good decision.
