She takes a whole-person centered approach with all her clients and believes that care coordination amongst interdisciplinary teams is vital to the success of her client. She goes the extra mile to get involved in that process.
Hayat meets each client where they are at, and works with them to create individualized treatment goals/plans. She believes that physical space is important to the healing process and vows to create a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space for her clients to be vulnerable in. Hayat leverages a wide variety of therapy models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Psychoeducation.
Since coming to 180 Counseling, Hayat has also found her passion within couples counseling. She strives to help couples learn more about themselves, and their partner as well as gain a deeper sense of understanding and belonging in their relationship.
