Ashley Duemmler

Ashley was born in the city of Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Matthews, North Carolina just right outside of Charlotte. She attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and obtained her B.S. in Psychology in 2019. She then realized how passionate she was about the college environment and for the students. She had a difficult time trying to figure out what she wanted to do for her career path and understand how the process can be. She wanted to give back to college students and watch them be successful within their academic journey. She eventually gravitated towards moving to Raleigh to receive her Master’s of Education (M.Ed.) in College Counseling and Student Development at North Carolina State University. She gained experience as an academic advisor and as a career counselor during her studies. Now that she has received her Master’s back in May 2023, she is hoping to get certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and see where this takes her. She loves working with the One-Eighty Counseling team and building relationships!

In her free time, she is at home with her spouse and loves to spoil her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Finn. She loves to travel, go on hikes, spend time with family, and always finding a good movie to watch.
